Your vision begins to clear, and the fog in your mind fades away as you regain your bearing after stepping through the portal. You hear a sharp crack as the portal behind you closes into nothingness. Yet before you have a chance to take in your surroundings, you hear a gruff voice.

"Yo there, friend." Shouts a large, grungy man kneeling by a nearby fountain. "If ye are new here to Avashire, ye best head over the Beggar's Feast until ye get your bearings."

You watch the man stand, and wipe his hands on his tunic. "What is the Beggar's Feast?" You ask.

The man snorts through a clogged nostril, and spits the remnants onto the grass in front of him. He coughs a couple times, points behind you and says, "That be the Inn and Tavern that's part of the Abbey over that way. It be run by the Monks, and there be no safer place in Avashire."

You smile slightly and nod to the strange man. "I thank you for your help." You toss a silver coin toward him and turn in the direction he pointed. Smoothing your clothes, you take a deep breath and begin walking up the pathway toward a large stone bridge, which you hope leads to the Beggar's Feast.
